Refund policy

We always do our best to inspect orders before they ship, however, mistakes do happen and if we made a mistake, we’ll take care of it. Please inspect all items in your order upon delivery. If you received a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We will be happy to get a replacement for you as soon as possible!

GENERAL STOCKED DECOR POLICY

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like to return it, we accept returns on select items within 14 days of receipt. Returned items must be postmarked by the 14th day to be eligible for a refund. Please note that all original shipping charges as well as return shipping costs are non refundable and are the responsibility of the customer. We suggest that all returns be insured and with tracking as Made For Home LLC cannot be held responsible for return packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen in transit. In addition, it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that items are adequately packaged for return. Once we receive your returned item(s) please allow 5-7 business days for processing and inspection. Once the item(s) are processed and inspected, the refund will be placed back onto the original method of payment, less the return shipping and handling fees. 

For all purchases over $250, a 3% convenience fee is added at checkout. This fee is non refundable. 

All items must be in new, unused condition with any tags still attached and packing intact. Returns that become damaged, soiled or altered while in possession of the customer or in return transit may not be accepted by Made For Home LLC and sent back to the customer.

To initiate a return, please email hello@hannessonhome.com with your order number, items to be returned, and reason for return. 

RUG RETURNS

Because of the current challenges we face with shipping and backorders, we do not offer returns for rugs or rug samples that are due to customer dissatisfaction at this time. Because of this, we highly recommend ordering a sample before ordering the rug if you are unsure of how the rug will look in your space, and measuring your space to be sure that sizing is accurate. For any questions or concerns regarding our rug returns policy, please email us at hello@hannessonhome.com 

If your rug arrives and appears to have been damaged in transit, we highly suggest that you refuse the delivery and contact us at hello@hannessonhome.com. If you do not refuse the delivery but the rug appears to have been damaged in transit or manufacturing, please photograph the damage and email us at hello@hannessonhome.com with photos of the damage as well as your order number within 48 hours so that we can begin the claim and replacement process. 

If a rug is refused by the customer at time of delivery due to dissatisfaction, return shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee will be charged. 

LIGHTING RETURNS

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email hello@hannessonhome.com within 48 hours of receiving your order and our team will help process a replacement. For faster resolution, please include pictures of the damage or defect, the order number and the product name. Lighting is non-returnable and non-refundable due to customer dissatisfaction.

ARTWORK

Due to the custom nature of the artwork we carry, all artwork orders are final sale and cannot be modified or canceled once submitted. Furthermore, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on an artwork order. 

Please inspect artwork upon receipt and note any damages at the time of delivery. If any damages are discovered and/or the delivery is refused, please email us at hello@hannessonhome.com with your order number along with photos of the damages within 48 hours of delivery.

FURNITURE

All furniture sales, including both custom and stocked pieces, are final. Our team works hard to consistently update stock levels and backorder dates but please note that these dates are subject to change. If you have a deadline or need a piece quickly, please contact us before purchase so we can update you to the best of our ability of the availability of the piece. Additionally, we cannot accept cancellations on orders once they have been placed regardless of any changes in backorder dates. 

We ask that you please carefully inspect your pieces upon delivery and note any damages at the time of delivery. If any damages due to manufacturing defect or transit appear, please note all damages upon delivery and report them to us within 48 hours of delivery with corresponding photos and your order number at hello@hannessonhome.com.

Furniture that is refused at the time of delivery due to customer dissatisfaction will be exchanged for in-store credit only less any original shipping costs, return shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee.
